Resumo: | Analyzing the current conjuncture of the world energy matrix, renewable energy sources have been increasingly used as they become viable and necessary. In this context, a
newly developed technology has presented itself as an effective alternative and with multiple applications in the electromechanical coupling in electric power generation systems,
the REF - Electromagnetic Frequency Regulator, an adapted induction machine, with
mobile armature, capable of carrying out the coupling of a turbine to a generator, while
maintaining the rotor speed controlled by means of a frequency inverter. In this work,
the mathematical modeling of the REF was proposed in abc and dq0 coordinates from its
parameters of the classic equivalent circuit, a vector strategy in speed control quadrature
was implemented and its activation and power flow was simulated, through Matlab Simulink, for varied feed and load profiles. The modeling and control, implemented in a
simulation environment, presented a satisfactory result, enabling new studies around the
REF and in the development of its new prototypes. |
