Resumo:This is an experience report about an extension project which aimed to integrate psychology and education at a non-profit institution dedicated to the development of children and teenagers who knows their rights and duties as a good citizen in Natal/RN. Whit the integration of Pedagogy and Psychology students, efforts were made to the listen to teacher’s work, conducted by the institution’s psychologist and the pedagogical job, which involves the systematic planning and collective teaching strategies, with a goal to promote reading and writing skills. The link between pedagogy and psychology allowed achieve as results a change of the direction in the institution in relation to the importance given to the pedagogical work organization collectively and democratically which began to consider the specificities of own professionals and students who make up the institution. It was concluded that the discussion of pedagogical and subjective impacts on teacher’s planning is configured as an important part of continuing education, benefiting teaching and learning processes, with consequences of good civic education.
