An approach is also taken on the child and play according to the official documents of child education, RCNEI (1998); DCNEI (2010). The role of play in the context of early childhood is emphasized. It is tried to present on the importance of the jokes like propellers of the pedagogical practices of the child education. The role of child education institutions is also investigated. Explain yourself about the role of the teacher. An approach is taken on the importance of planning as well as time and space. In this way the study exposes the conclusion that the pedagogical practices must be guided by the jokes. But for this, it is necessary to create adequate spaces and materials, as well as, the teacher to consider their educational action by means of planning and mediation to develop meaningful learning. Este presente trabalho consiste em uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico, tendo como objetivo principal discorrer sobre a importância da brincadeira nas práticas de Educação Infantil à luz de teóricos como Maluf (2004); Horn (2017); Redin (2013); e outros. Faz- se ainda uma abordagem sobre a criança e o brincar de acordo com os documentos oficiais da Educação Infantil, RCNEI (1998); DCNEI(2010). Ressalta-se o papel das brincadeiras no contexto de primeira infância. Busca-se apresentar sobre a importância das brincadeiras como propulsoras das práticas pedagógicas da Educação Infantil. Investiga-se ainda o papel das instituições de Educação Infantil. Explana-se sobre o papel do professor. Faz- se uma abordagem sobre a importância do planejamento, levando-se em consideração o tempo e o espaço nesse contexto educativo. Dessa forma o estudo expõe a conclusão de que as práticas pedagógicas devem ser norteadas pelas brincadeiras.
