Resumo: | Studies on organizational culture and E-learning have grown in recent years, however there is a lack of research on organizational culture and E-learning in the hospitality area, making it necessary to study it. The theme of this work fits into the field of study of people management, with the aim of analyzing the relationship between organizational culture and the adoption of E-learning in the context of the hotel industry in the city of Natal (Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil). To achieve the research objectives, a descriptive study was adopted, based on a quantitative approach. The field of study was the Hotel-Escola SENAC Barreira Roxa, and the sample was based on the responses of 52 hotel employees. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale of agreement degree from 1 to 7. It has statements linked to organizational culture profiles, as well as the perception of adoption and use of E-learning in the hotel. Subsequently, the software with the SPSS program was used to adapt the statistical analysis, making use of the questionnaire's reliability test, descriptive analysis and correlation matrix. With this study, it was possible to identify that clan and innovative cultures are the organizational culture styles that most predominate in the hotel studied here, these same cultures also stand out from the others in terms of positive correlations for the adoption of E-learning. Finally, the variables that stood out the most for the adoption of E-learning were the effort expectation and the performance expectation, which depend only on the employees' view of the system in use, which reinforces that the hotel must pay attention to the other variables so that the adoption is unanimous. |
