Resumo:In order to analyze the expressions of violence in public schools in Parnamirim/RN, from the perspective of school management, this article was built. Thus, it presents the results of a qualitative study that analyzed the expressions of violence and the frequency in which they occur in eight (8) schools serving the Elementary School I and II public during the day and EJA public on night shift, especially the first semester of 2016. Therefore, this paper reflects about violence and its various expressions and the role of the school manager. Finally, notes up that the analysis shows the deconstruction of the idea shared by a considerable part of the school team that the EJA juvenilisation is decisive for the violence suffered by schools, and points out how some forms of violence prevention: the need for school manager seek to develop a way to deal with situations that require respect for heterogeneity, considering the different cultural patterns and also the adoption of actions that seek to mediate conflicts that which may materialize in some expression of the various forms taken by violence.
