Resumo: | During the school year is possible to see the abandon by the students of the Youth and Adult Education before it is over. A number of factors characterizes this school leavers, such as emotional, social, political, cultural, economic, and even school itself discourages students in no longer attending classes. In contrast, the government invests to maintain these students attending to schools, but there is still lack strategies to reverse this issue meaningfully. Based on this discussed topic this article aims at a brief reflection on the possible causes of the truancy on Youth and Adult Education (EJA). Was taken as theoretical basis: Paiva (1983), Cunha (1999), Romanelli (1999), Freire (1996) and Arroyo (2000), among others who discuss important points about the Youth and Adult Education. This research was constituted of a bibliographic study focusing on a qualitative approach. Thus, the adult education’s teacher has the task of being sensitive enough to face the problem of evasion, developing new strategies and teaching practices to reverse this situation, present in many Brazilian schools. Especially in the Youth and Adult Education. |
