It is therefore a qualitative research using records found in three reports (quarterly) of the child in focus. The children's quarterly records are taken by the school as a description of the learning process (individual), serving as an evaluation instrument at the end of the school year. In addition, the bibliographic exploration is also present having as theoretical foundation the studies of Belisário Filho e Cunha (2010), Bosa (2006), Coelho e Espírito Santo (2006), as part of the construction of discussions and analyzes. In its composition, the present reflective text is composed of sections that are configured in unfolding to reach the central objective of the study. In the reflective analysis, it is perceived that there is the difficulty of the child feeling included in the pedagogical practices existing in the CMEI, due to lack of knowledge of their specific needs and, therefore, to be evaluated in the best possible way. O presente artigo apresenta um estudo reflexivo acerca das possibilidades e dos desafios propiciados na aprendizagem de uma criança autista que frequentava o nível IV, de um Centro Municipal de Educação infantil (CMEI), localizado no município de Natal, em 2013, a partir de dados extraídos de seus relatórios trimestrais, registrados pela professora de sala de aula. Trata, pois, de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa ao utilizar-se de registros encontrados em três relatórios (trimestrais) da criança em foco. Os registros trimestrais da referida criança são tidos pela escola como descrição do processo de aprendizagem (individual), servindo como instrumento avaliativo de final de ano letivo. Além disso, a exploração bibliográfica também é presente tendo como fundamentação teórica os estudos de Belisário Filho e Cunha (2010), Bosa (2006), Coelho e Santo (2006), e de documentos legais como o Referencial Curricular Nacional para a Educação Infantil (1998), fazendo parte da construção de discussões e análises. Em sua composição, o presente texto reflexivo é composto por seções que se configuram em desdobramentos para o alcance do objetivo central do estudo.
