At the end of this research, it was possible to conclude that the pedagogical planning in the school environment of Infant Education is extremely important and can contribute significantly to the development of children. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo discutir sobre a importância do planejamento pedagógico na Educação Infantil. Para tanto, discorrerá sobre a trajetória dessa etapa de ensino, tanto no Brasil como no mundo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e bibliográfica fundamentada em documentos como a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional - Lei 9.394/96 e o Referencial Curricular Nacional para a Educação Infantil (1998) e em obras de autores como Kramer (2000), Barbosa (2006) e Montessori (1967).
