This production underscores the importance of playgrounds for learning in this modality of Early Childhood Education, making it fundamental for the teacher to understand the playful universe in which the child communicates, either with her or with the world, developing fully and still benefiting the effects that the game provides in learning. The choice of the theme is justified by the understanding that play is a phenomenon of culture, which is configured as a set of practices and knowledge built and accumulated by each one in the historical and social contexts in which they are inserted, since the play is one of the important aspects in the child's life. Finally, through this study, the teacher will have the opportunity to make a more conscious reading about the playful aspect of the child's life, with an emphasis on play. O presente estudo está pautado na temática “A brincadeira e suas contribuições na educação infantil” tem como objetivo principal reconhecer a importância dos das brincadeiras para o desenvolvimento integral da criança e para sua aprendizagem. Têm como suporte os pressupostos teóricos de Bueno (2010), Kishimoto (2001, 2010), Pereira (2014) entre outros, que serviram de norte para a elaboração desta intervenção. Esta produção ressalta a importância das brincadeiras para a aprendizagem nesta modalidade de Educação Infantil, tornando-se fundamental para o professor compreender o universo lúdico, em que a criança se comunica, seja com ela ou com o mundo, desenvolvendo-se integralmente e ainda se beneficiando com os efeitos que a brincadeira proporciona na aprendizagem. A escolha da temática justifica-se por se entender que a brincadeira é um fenômeno de cultura, a qual se configura como um conjunto de práticas e conhecimentos construídos e acumulados por cada um nos contextos históricos e sociais em que se inserem, haja vista que a brincadeira é um dos aspectos importantes na vida da criança.
