Resumo:The actual literacy requirements requires an individual that in addition to reading and writing, It’s competent in the skills to understand their social context. Thus, this article, as a result of the conclusion work of the Pedagogy Course, It aims to discuss the strategies that aims the process of alphabetization/literacy, entering this student, between of the reading and writing, in the world of the knowledge. Making use of the qualitative research, it was raised some data with three teachers that teach the 3rd year of the Elementary School in the School Francisca Pires de Albuquerque in São Vicente. The Contact aimed to understand how come uncoiling the reading and writing practices of the students of this particular grade. The basic theoretical references were Soares, Magda (2005, 2012), Teberosky (1995), Solé, Isabel (1998), Kramer, Sonia (2010), Cagliari, Luiz Carlos (2009), Freire, Paulo (1921). The analyzes showed that the reading and writing process are practices developed in class taking into consideration the alphabetization and literacy process with significant results although still present some obstacles justified through the testimony of educators.
