Resumo:The report reflects on the importance of games and activities in the process of teaching and learning and how they can influence in a positive and entertaining way in the development of the child. I take based on my experiences as a teacher of this educational stage and the activities developed during the teaching. We discuss how these tools have become significant in early childhood education and reflect on the importance of being articulated to the teaching content and not just as entertainment and fun. Therefore, I present the need of planning and organization of time and space to carry out the game and effectively play. To carry out this research as identify key players, KISHIMOTO (2015), Oliveira (1996), among others. I believe that this work has provided me with concerns and triggered reflections on the new ways of working that combine games and play to the school context. I could reflect on my teaching and activities, projects and actions developed throughout my professional career.
