To obtain a satisfactory study, a questionnaire was applied structured forms with the teachers of the first years of basic schooling I. The referred to is composed of eight questions, being seven of objective and a subjective. We tried to observe details such as the age, level of instruction, average time of teaching and also the methods used. Another relevant factor and important in research was to seek to know the routine of these teachers, the strategies used to encourage reading the advance of the teaching-learning process of these students in relation to read. For the development of this study, we opted for descriptive quantitative research, as well as in a bibliographic research founded in the fundamentals of Freire (2002), Soares (2012) and Barbosa (1994). They also served as a contribution to the National Plan of Education (PNE) and the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education (LDB) who strengthened the analyzes. In the face of all the information listed in this study it can be concluded that about the importance of working the reading from the earliest age, since it is the main agent of insertion of the individual in society. It is noticed that the traditional method, used by many in the educational practice, is not completely satisfactory, that it is necessary to invest in new tools, new practices that will contribute to the process of appropriation of reading on the part of the student.

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar os métodos utilizados no processo de aprendizagem dos alunos da Escola Estadual Major Felipe. A escolha por essa temática deve-se ao fato se constatar o baixo índice de aprendizagem quanto ao domínio da leitura. Para a obtenção de um estudo satisfatório, foi aplicado um questionário semiestruturado com os professores dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental I. O referido é composto por oito questões, sendo sete de objetivas e uma subjetiva. Procurou-se observar detalhes como a faixa etária, o grau de instrução, tempo médio de ensino e também os métodos utilizados. Outro fator relevante e importante na pesquisa foi buscar conhecer a rotina desses docentes, as estratégias utilizadas para estimular a leitura e o avanço do processo de ensino aprendizagem desses alunos em relação a leitura. Para o desenvolvimento desse estudo, optou-se pela pesquisa quantitativa descritiva, bem como de uma pesquisa bibliográfica alicerçada nos fundamentos de Freire (2002), Soares (2012) e Barbosa (1994). Também serviram de aporte o Plano Nacional da Educação (PNE) e Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação (LDB) que fortaleceram as análises. Diante de todas as informações elencadas nesse estudo pode-se concluir que sobre a importância de se trabalhar a leitura, desde a mais tenra idade, veste ser o principal agente de inserção do indivíduo na sociedade.
