Resumo:The play besides being a child right is a form of language , therefore, priority should be given , with emphasis on early childhood education. Learning playing gives more pleasure to the children , and enable the development of various skills , among them motor , affective and cognitive . Supported the assertion , this article aims to understand how the game happens in kindergarten , and know the school position , family and educators about the practice of play . To carry out the research made observations , records, as well as reading the relevant literature . And to support our admitted them in theoretically in among other authors that emphasize play in their studies. Finally , we conclude that in kindergarten practice the play is in the background , since, instead of playing , children are doing activities based on a daily routine, which do not favor the game as a pedagogical activity. Moreover, it is clear that the school and the family they see the game as a pass time. However , it is clear that the teachers and the institution is aware of the importance of play for little ones , but do not insert this practice in its planning , in virtue of Education be enxergada as preparation for primary education . Finally , this research is very important for teachers and researchers , as we have another reference of how the game needs to be done in early childhood education.
