The choice of the theme is justified by the need to better understand the planning process for Early Childhood Education. In this sense, the research aims to investigate the importance of planning for teachers of the Children's Institution. The methodology used was exploratory research, from the perspective of qualitative research in education, using as data collection instruments the application of questionnaires, containing objective and subjective questions for the professional that works in the area of education, in order to respond to the proposed objectives in this study. Participant observation, reading and documentary analysis were also used as data construction tools such as the registers of the teacher's records and planning and the pedagogical project of the school. The study also supports the analysis of data constructed in a literature review on the subject. It was noticed that planning in early childhood education, positively contributes to the process of development of teaching / learning. It was verified that the researched teacher recognizes the importance of planning as a significant learning tool. It is concluded that planning in early childhood education has been a very important tool to provide rich learning experiences in this educational context.

Este trabalho debate sobre a importância do planejamento na Educação Infantil para uma aprendizagem significativa, como ferramenta de suma importância para os processos de ensino e aprendizagem, pois é por meio do planejamento pedagógico que o professor analisa a sua prática em sala de aula e se suas atuações estão proporcionando o objetivo esperado, no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem. A escolha da temática se justifica pela necessidade de melhor compreender sobre o processo de planejamento para Educação Infantil. Neste sentido, a pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar a importância do planejamento para professores da Instituição Infantil. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa exploratória, na perspectiva da investigação qualitativa em educação, utilizando como instrumentos de coleta de dados a aplicação de questionários, contendo perguntas objetivas e subjetivas para a profissional que atua na área de ensino, a fim de responder aos objetivos propostos neste estudo. Utilizou-se também como instrumento de construção dos dados a observação participante, leitura e análise documental como cadernos de registros e planejamento da professora e projeto pedagógico da escola. O estudo também se apoia para análise dos dados construídos numa revisão bibliográfica sobre a temática. Percebeu-se que o planejamento na educação infantil, colabora positivamente para o processo de desenvolvimento de ensino/aprendizagem. Constatou-se que a professora pesquisada reconhece a importância do planejamento como instrumento de aprendizagem significativa.
