description The School failure has been a challenge to be faced by conventional education. Where this phenomenon is understood as the promoter of bad success, avoidance and repetition, approval without the acquisition of the specific knowledge of each learning cycle. The present article focuses on the diagnosis of cooperative factors for school failure in an institution in the municipality of Campo Redondo / RN in the period of 2017, a problem that afflicts and awakens attention of several schools in our country. Not intending to reach all the definitions of the problem, which covers a multitude of aspects, but wishing to share reflections on the subject in order to contribute in some way to those who participate in the educational process. He was subsidized by some works, among them: Patto (1999), Benavente (1976), Fernández (1990), Freire (1996), Rangel (1994), Libâneo (1998), Fonseca (1999), Silva; Menezes, (2001), Dessen; Poland (2007), Bechker (1972), Oliveira (1999), Charlot (2000) Saviani (1991), Barros; Lehfeld, (1990), Duarte (2009) and Chalita (2001). The analysis was carried out with the help of questionnaires, in which they were substantial to help clarify the reality of the researched school and provided relevant elements to reach a better solution in the space and of the subjects surveyed. With regard to the results obtained, it can be seen that the teachers, coordinator and manager present a well formulated concept about quality education, and sociocultural culpability. At the end it was verified that the objectives were met, with the collection of sufficiently analyzed data allows the elaboration of a response to the problem. Opting for further studies to identify measures that can effectively contribute to the fight against school failure.

O insucesso escolar tem sido um desafio a ser enfrentado pela educação convencional. Onde esse fenômeno é entendido como o fomentador do mau êxito, evasão e repetência, a aprovação sem a aquisição do conhecimento especifico de cada ciclo de aprendizagem. O presente Artigo tem como foco diagnosticar os fatores cooperantes para o insucesso escolar, em uma instituição no município de Campo Redondo/ RN no período de 2017, sendo uma problemática que aflige e desperta atenção de várias escolas no nosso país. Não pretendendo alcançar todas as definições do problema, que abrange uma infinidade de aspectos, mas, desejando compartilhar reflexões sobre o assunto para poder contribuir de alguma forma aos que participam do processo educativo. Onde foi subsidiado por algumas obras , entre elas: Patto (1999), Benavente, (1976), Fernández (1990), Freire (1996), Rangel (1994), Libâneo (1998), Fonseca (1999), Silva; Menezes, (2001), Dessen; Polonia (2007), Bechker (1972), Oliveira (1999), Charlot ( 2000) Saviani (1991), Barros; Lehfeld, (1990), Duarte (2009) e Chalita ( 2001). A análise realizou-se com auxilio de questionários, no qual foram substanciais para ajudar a esclarecer a realidade da escola pesquisada e forneceram elementos relevantes para o alcance de melhor solução no espaço e dos sujeitos pesquisados. No tocante aos resultados obtidos, pode-se perceber que os professores, coordenador e gestora apresentam um conceito bem formulado sobre uma educação de qualidade, e a culpabilidade sociocultural. Ao final verificou-se que os objetivos foram atendidos, com o levantamento de dados suficientemente analisados permitindo chegar a elaboração de uma resposta ao problema.
