For the development of this survey, a bilbiográfica review of works and documents was made to discuss about the playful tema.O presented as short teaching methodology importance to the development of children in educational and social context. It can support the development application plays and games help in the expansion of psychological and pedagogical skills of the individual. From this research it was possible to analyze the concept of child evolved with the passage of time, including and as a significant increase in the expansion of the concept of early childhood education and teaching purposes of this segment. At the end, the research seeks to raise a reflection on the importance of playfulness within the Education and, accordingly, it is odd that educators know how to use methodologies that include playfulness games, toys and games as a tool / teaching tool for the effectiveness of the teaching and learning. Este artigo tem como tema “O Lúdico na educação infantil” e seu principal objetivo consiste em analisar a importância do lúdico nesta etapa da educação báscia. Neste contexto, elegemos como quesão de partida, a seguinte indagação: Qual a relevância da utilização do mesmo para o desenvolvimento e aprendizagem da criança? Para o desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa, foi feita uma revisão bilbiográfica de obras e documentos que discorrem sobre o tema.O lúdico apresenta-se como metodologia de ensino de suma importância para o desenvolvimento da criança no âmbito educacional e social. Ela pode se apoiar no desenvolvimento aplicação de brincadeiras e jogos auxilia na ampliação de competências psíquicas e pedagógicas do individuo. A partir desta pesquisa foi possível analisar que o conceito de criança evoluiu com o decorrer do tempo, inclusive e o quanto houve um aumento significativo na expansão do conceito da educação infantil e das finalidades desse segmento de ensino.
