Resumo: | This article presents the results of an investigation in a Creche belonging to the municipal network in the city of Caicó / RN. The research aimed to identify the conceptions of literacy permeating the practice of Professor of Early Childhood Education, seeking to understand the influence of these conceptions in teaching practice, as well as contributing to generating discussions about literacy in early childhood education, in an attempt to focus on prospects and challenges faced by area teachers. The data were collected through direct observation, reports and questionnaire. The research is based on theoretical authors such as Freire (1996), Soares (2001), among others. In this sense, they are gathered aspects that seek to outline the practice of active teachers, the teachers do, with the focus on development of didactic classes and literacy process. |
