Resumo:This work aims to make a historical and bibliographical analysis of the Brazilian industrialization in the period from 1930 to 1955, describing the historical process of the first Vargas government during the New State up his second government. Industrialization in Brazil occurred as a result of substitution of imports of late and tardy manner. The research project seeks storying industrialization as a result of import substitution policy through a bibliographic and documentary research, based on Brazilian literature, to substantiate this claim.
