Resumo:The purposeof this paper is to explain the socioeconomic and demographic variables of the cities in which shopping malls are located, as well as the characteristics of the shopping malls, variations in the invoicing of the enterprises. It is based on a data collection for the year 2016 conducted during the first half of 2017 and interviews with managers of shopping malls in Brazil, with the objective of carrying out a study by means of a multiple regression and to estimate a model that can clarify These relationshipsbetween the independent variables collected and the dependent variable, which is the billing of shopping malls. Thus, the estimation obtained an adjusted R2 of 0.96, showing that 96% of the changes in the billings of the ventures are explained by variations in the independent variables collected.
