| Resumo: | This work seeks to demonstrate what are the competencies required of graduates of the Accounting Sciences course at UFRN, to act in the potiguar market. Therefore, a questionnaire was applied that allowed the evidence of the respondents' profile, with emphasis on the main market requirements for accounting professionals in the current context. Considerations are made about the evolution of accounting and the demands arising from it, especially in a context of pandemic. The results indicate that it is necessary to keep up to date, mainly in relation to technological innovations, also paying attention to behavioral issues such as resilience and ability to manage conflicts. In general, most respondents consider that the course allows good training, despite the indication that new approaches should be introduced in the process of analyzing accounting phenomena. |
