Resumo:This research’s objective is to analyze the transparency level of the available information within the electronic portals (websites) of the Legislative Assemblies, based on the proposed evaluation indicator. An evaluation form was elaborated containing twenty items related to information that should be made available. The said form was applied in the 27 websites of the Legislative Assemblies in September and October 2018. A level of transparency could be attributed to the portals from the results of the evaluation forms with a score varying from 0 to 20, as well as it was possible to set a ranking of transparency between the Assemblies portals. The results revealed that the Assembly of São Paulo obtained score 16, getting the first position, followed by the Assembly of Paraíba, with score 14, then, the Assemblies of Espírito Santo, Pernambuco e Paraná, being the third, fourth and fifth, respectively. In the last positions were the Piauí, Bahia and Roraima Assemblies, with score 6, 5 and 2 – respectively. Therefore, Legislative Assemblies are failing to comply with legislation that deals with transparency. This study contributes to the advancement of the literature about information transparency turned available in the electronic portals (websites) of the public entities, especially to assemblies.
