| Resumo: | The present study has for objective to describe the economic and financial situation of the candies companies in the period between 2013 and 2017 in the dimensions of liquidity, structure and profitability. The analysis indicators were chosen according to the established financial analysis, for that, the indices were calculated based on data extracted from the financial statements of five companies under the joint-stock company of the candies segment in the period from 2013 to 2017. Among the results of the study, we highlight the Neugebauer that presented a better performance of liquidity and structure, explained by important contributions of equity. Throughout the period, Peccin was the only company that presented monetary growth of the profits, which explains to have obtained the best returns between the companies. Finally, the diagnosis of these companies in relation to the sector in which they are inserted. The results showed that the companies presented different performances in relation to each indicator, that is, having the best liquidity performance necessarily means having the best profitability or the best equity structure. |
