Resumo:The purpose of this work is to elaborate a strategic planning proposal based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for Restaurante Esperança. The period for the elaboration of this work was in the middle of a global economic crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic that devastated the world, making it even more necessary to use strategic planning, not only to minimize the losses caused to the restaurant, but also to take advantage of the apparent opportunities. The present work is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, of the case study type. With the data it was possible to develop the necessary steps to achieve the study's objective, starting with the situational diagnosis of the company through the SWOT matrix where it was possible to identify its current scenario, then it was given continuity with the organizational identity, following the elaboration of the Balanced Scorecard that enabled the development of the strategic map and the goals plan, and finally the proposal of the monitoring and evaluation planning cycle. At the end of the planning process, it was believed that the company is fully capable of executing the plan, and can thus achieve beneficial results for the organization.
