Resumo:The civil construction, at the same time it is responsible for the development of a country, is also a major environmental degradation agent, with the removal of non-renewable mineral resources and large waste generation. An alternative that arises in this scenario is the recycling of these materials for incorporation into coating mortar. This study aimed to characterize, the study of mechanical performance and the factors that influence the durability of coating mortars produced with the replacement of natural aggregate, the Construction and Demolition Waste - CDW, in percentages of 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%. The results of mechanical properties to 28 and 91 days were satisfactory, since it showed superior especially in relation to the capacity of deformation and a bigger percentage gain in compressive strength. The technological properties that influence the durability obtained values lower than the reference mortar.
