Resumo:The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficiencies and how adequate was the implementation of a Last Planner System (LPS) in a building company located in Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, trying to fill a lack of knowledge observed in the local industry. The methodology used to evaluate was study of case, adapting an evaluative systematic using 14 good practices. The data collection was made through interviews, observations in the construction field and documental analyses. In the end of the evaluation was possible to present two indicators: suitability to the propose model and efficiency of the model implementation. To conclude, recommendations were made to the company, trying to develop the efficiency of the model adopted. This paper evaluates the company using the data collected in four months of analyses. This study case will provide an overview of the management model situation adopted by the company, making possible futures adjustments in the LPS. This paper was the first study made in a company from Natal, evaluating its model of planning and control of production, opening the opportunity for future studies searching to decrease the lack of knowledge in this regional market.
