The acquisition of these supplies without proper planning may incur in surprises and inconvenients throughout the construction process. On the other hand, the elaboration of a planning and the application of a management of the supplies proactively and efficiently provides significant benefits in a building, such as reducing stocks, productivity increase, less waste and cost reduction. This work has the objective of conducing an investigation of the management and the control of supplies in the civil construction when applied to one of the models used as reference in the elaboration of budgets by the Sistema Nacional de Pesquisa de Custos e Índices da Construção Civil (SINAPI). To do so, a standart project provided by this System was chosen. In possession of these data and with the analysis of the information, it was determined the ideal moments of acquisition of the supplies for the project. Physical schedules and material acquisitions were made, with support on SINAPI’S compositions.It has been realized that managing the inputs of a construction is not an easy task, and deserves a lot of attention, since each situation has different needs and realities, so the process of planning and managing the supplies depends on many variables and can occur differently depending on the technical characteristics of the construction involved, becoming essential for the monitoring and control of buildings .

Os materiais representam parcela significativa do custo global de uma edificação. As etapas que estão envolvidas com a compra e administração desses elementos nas construtoras têm sido relegadas por muito tempo. A aquisição desses insumos sem o devido planejamento pode incorrer em diversos inconvenientes e surpresas ao longo do processo construtivo. Por sua vez, a elaboração de um planejamento e a aplicação de um gerenciamento de suprimentos de forma proativa e eficiente proporciona inúmeros benefícios no andamento da construção, tais como redução de estoques, aumento de produtividade, menores desperdícios e diminuição de custos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo a realização de uma investigação da gestão e do controle de suprimentos na construção civil quando aplicado a um dos modelos utilizados como referência na elaboração de orçamentos pelo Sistema Nacional de Pesquisa de Custos e Índices da Construção Civil (SINAPI). Para isso foi escolhido um projeto padrão disponibilizado pelo sistema. De posse desses dados e com a análise das informações, determinou-se os momentos ideais de aquisição dos suprimentos para o projeto. Foram elaborados cronogramas físicos e de aquisições de materiais com o auxílio das composições existentes no próprio SINAPI.
