| Resumo: | The notable shortage of investments in policies and actions and basic sanitation in Brazilian municipalities, as well as the insufficiency of sanitary structures and practices have contributed to the configuration of a society with lower quality and life expectancy, thus, basic sanitation is great importance in the development of a people. Based on this, the present work aims to contribute to the development of one of the four main pillars of basic sanitation, specifically the sanitary sewage sector, elaborating two basic design alternatives for the headquarters of the municipality of Encanto-RN. For the elaboration of these alternatives a diagnosis of the current situation of this sector was carried out and the topography of the study area was evaluated. Subsequently, for each alternative presented, the design and basic budgeting of the constituent elements of these systems was carried out. It was concluded that the economic factor is not decisive in the choice of the best alternative, but rather the adequacy of the operation of each proposed system to the reality of the municipality. |
