| Resumo: | Human preferences are at the heart of research done by builders and developers to refine and translate value attributes into new releases and stand out in a competitive marketplace where a project attribute can affect the choice of future customers. The choice of these attributes is usually made with the feeling and experience of the market, not if using scientific data. This research sought to capture the concept of desired value for users of medium-sized enterprises in the city of Natal / RN. The declared preference technique was used, with cards illustrated as a data collection instrument and a brief socioeconomic questionnaire. The universe surveyed was 143 housing units, a sample of an entire city, consisting of a sample space of 56 units located in two projects using the market niche studied. Values dimensions were divided for separate analysis and a global analysis with all value attributes being compared to each other. The result of the study evidenced a discrepancy in the item security, when compared with the other items for the formation of the desired value. The profile of the most demanding customer was also evidenced, being the second attribute of desired value more remembered the "Quality" when referring to the materials used in the construction. |
