| Resumo: | This work aims to propose a study on bus line 588, called the Circular do Campus da UFRN, in order to generate in increase in line capacity through a rearrangement of vehicle layouts, thus, the models in this work, were created from concepts generated by layouts of other transports with the trolleybus, the subway and the airport bus. For this purpose, general measurements of the vehicle and seat positions were carried out, comparing tehm to those found in the litrature and usual measurements used by the company responsible for the bodywork used in the vehicle, followed by models with percentage reduction of seats and position changes. Finally, comparisons were made between the improvement data obtained fron each model, determining the choice of the model and concept with the best result for the increase of capacity, showing its total capacity, seats and total of people standing. |
