To solve such problems, a tool that has been widely used in the industry is lean construction, derived from the Toyota Production System. Concurrently to this need, we can see the fast development of information and communication technologies (ICT). Thus, in order to reduce the many losses caused by waiting and overproduction, an engineering team developed a computer system able to control the activities done at the construction site using the concepts and tools of lean construction. The work staff through "Lean Terminals” check their weekly schedules, set the andon when necessary and request the amount and type of mortar and material they need to work and, through tablets, operators of concrete mixers and winches receive this information and now perform what was requested, thus avoiding idle and wait for material. Therefore, this paper, through a case study aims to analyze the use of a computerized system applied to the concepts of Lean Construction, comparing the data obtained in this with data from the implementation of lean thinking, concluding that use of it was effective for generating more reliable reporting, better level the production and gain greater control of the time and pace of activities. O panorama atualmente vivido na indústria da Construção Civil favorece o uso de novas ferramentas para que se tenha um melhor controle e gerenciamento de obra, além de um crescimento na produtividade e racionalização de materiais e processos construtivos. Para sanar tais problemas, uma ferramenta que vem sendo largamente difundida no setor é a construção enxuta, oriunda do Sistema Toyota de Produção. Concomitantemente a essa necessidade, percebe-se o rápido desenvolvimento de tecnologias da informação e comunicação (TIC). Deste modo, com o intuito de diminuir as diversas perdas por espera e superprodução, uma equipe de engenharia desenvolveu um sistema computacional capaz de controlar as atividades realizadas no canteiro de obras utilizando os conceitos e ferramentas da construção enxuta. Os próprios funcionários da obra, através de “Terminais Lean”, verificam suas programações semanais, acionam o andon quando necessário e solicitam a quantidade e tipo de argamassa e material que precisam para trabalhar e, por meio de tablets, os operadores das betoneiras e dos guinchos recebem essa informação e já executam o que foi solicitado, evitando assim ociosidade e espera por material.
