Resumo:The Construction has relevance in the national socioeconomic development, however, also it is known great environmental impacts and high rates of construction waste. Brazil has a high housing deficit, therefore, there is demand for residential buildings. The aim of this study was identify research needs and technological solutions for low environmental impact areas in housing projects, through a proposal of some guidelines, in order to identify the levels of importance attributed and the rate of adoption of these guidelines, as well as the characterization of practices of these companies in the county of Natal-RN. For this, a Data Survey was carried out through the application of two questionnaires of the Cantechis project, then a qualitative and quantitative analysis, where were identified the practices considered more important and more adopted. We also identified the guidelines considered important, but with low adoption rate, which are the ones that require more research and study for the development of technological solutions. The present work aimed to contribute to the development of low impact sites, and to disseminate new perspectives that could be adopted in the future by the companies, which were not practiced or had their viability evaluated, due to lack of knowledge. Finally, there is a comparison between the local rates of adoption of guidelines on the themes with the results of other states, already reported in previous research, where it is concluded that they presented significant similarity with previous studies, proving the alarming levels and the discrepancy between what is considered important and what is actually performed.
