Descrição
Resumo:The object of study by the 2010 Nobel Prize winner in physics, graphene is considered the material of the century by many researchers. In this perspective, graphene has characteristics that draw attention, for example: material that has extremely high modulus of elasticity, thermal conductivity greater than silver, electrical conductivity higher than copper, and can generate super flexible materials when added to a polymeric matrix. In this way, for the synthesis of reduced graphene oxide (rGO), the chemical exfoliation method was adopted, as it has some positive points, such as: cost / benefit, large-scale application, among others. Finally, the characterization of the material was carried out, using methods of analysis of the composition, morphology and structure of the material, performing analyzes such as X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), as well as Fluorescence X-ray and field-scanning electron microscopy, obtaining results compatible with the literature, indicating success in the synthesis of rGO, material that can be used for a wide range of applications.
