Resumo:A nonlinear relationship between the luminosity in the ultraviolet and X-ray bands in quasars was used with the Markov Chain Monte Carlo computational method to impose constraints to parameters of this relationship. For this purpose, the work of Risaliti and Lusso was used as reference. For the cosmological parameters the values $\Omega_M = 0.26^{+0.20}_{-0.12}$ and $\Omega_{\Lambda} = 0.89^{+0.22}_{-0.64}$ were obtained. The results are in agreement when compared to the cited work, using the same data set, but following another methodology. In addition, an alternative model to the Standard Cosmology Model was tested considering an interaction between the dark sector components of the universe parameterized by a constant parameter $\epsilon$. In this step, $\Omega_M = 0.18^{+ 0.34}_{-0.15}$ and $\Omega_{\Lambda} = 0.68^{+0.35}_{-1.04}$ were obtained. For the interaction parameter, $\epsilon = -0.08^{+0.44}_{-0.93}$ was determined, in agreement with the non-interacting case.
