Resumo: | Bose-Einstein condensates are a state of matter in which a large fraction of the bosons composing the system are found in the lowest one-particle energy state, exhibiting nonlocality and superfluidity. Since it was first realized in 1995, BECs have gathered great interest in the scientific community, specially on the pursuit for condensation in new substances and their theoretical description. The effect of different types of interactions under this regime point to phase transitions not yet fully comprehended. In this work we analyze the Bose-Einstein condensate with both local and soft-core interactions, and on the latter we observe the superfluid-supersolid phase transition which occurs for a certain value of the interaction intensity. |
