Resumo:We present a detailed derivation of the exterior Reissner-Nordström solution by solving the coupled Einstein-Maxwell Equations for a symmetrically spherical and static space-time whose energy content is in the momentum energy tensor of the electric field. Thereafter, some physical properties of this solution are studied. We start with the singularities of the metric for three relative values of M and Q, we deduce an Eddington-Finkelstein change of coordinates to remove apparent singularities, and then we find expressions for time dilation and gravitational redshift. We determined the geodesic equation of the neutral particles, using the four-momentum conservation, as well, we derive the geodesic equation of the electrically charged particles with Lagrangian formalism. Finally, we find the equation of geodesic deviation for a Reissner-Nordström black hole.
