| Resumo: | It discusses how the librarian professional and the libraries can develop their activities in the pandemic period of the covid 19. Its study proposal is the librarian professional and the libraries. This work aims to highlight the importance of the librarian in this scenario, in addition to explaining the ways of acting in the face of the pandemic and also reflecting how libraries will be able to offer their services according to pre-established health standards, aiming at the safety of users. The methodology of this study consisted of a qualitative research approach based on a bibliographic survey with the purpose of gathering and consulting the scientific literature on the theme proposed here and presenting a set of ideas according to the proposed objectives. After the research, it was possible to realize that the librarian professional needs to show a more active voice in this scenario, contributing to the disclosure of a whole class, as well as, with the awareness of users regarding fake news.
