Resumo:This work describes and presents the development of a control applied to a prototype of a Mechanical Pump unit with the objective of automating it, so that its operation guarantees a greater efficiency and with the least wear and tear for its equipment. The control system developed aims to simulate the Pum-off control mechanism, where the main parameter to be analyzed was the height of the dynamic level, where, if the dynamic level is at the specified point, determine the motor drive for operation Of the prototype, thus avoiding the partial filling of the pump, which causes several problems, such as loss of production efficiency, greater energy consumption, greater wear of equipment, etc. The prototype was developed in the Laboratory of Automation in Petroleum (Laboratório de Automação em Petróleo), consists of a complete and transportable system, able to show the operation of a Mechanical Pump unit in a didactic way, besides providing several studies, such as since work that aims to show In a way of easy understanding the importance and some utilities of the controllers applied in the method of artificial elevation of the Mechanical Pump.
