Resumo:Oil remains the main source of energy in the world. Therefore, more and more new technologies are exploited in order to facilitate their production and reduction of operations of the companies that operate in the sector. Recovery methods are used to improve the production of oil from a reservoir. Among the methods, a polymer injection is included, which emerged as a new alternative for increasing oil production, increasing the life of the well and aiming to increase oil production. This work aims to present a new technology called BrightWater®, to moisten the water production and, consequently, to increase the production of non-reservoir oil for the use, in order to separate the pores of the rock with high permeability with polymers, diverting a water injected by other paths, thus increasing the total area of swept, the revenue and the cleaned the production time. The success of a technology has been used successfully and was once used in the mature fields of Brazilians, thus producing potentially useful material to fulfill the promise, thus increasing oil production in the country.
