Resumo:Geostatistics aims to spatial characterization of a variable by means of studies of its distribution and spatial variability, it is an important tool in reservoir modeling. It promotes interdisciplinary, improving the relationship among petroleum engineers, geologists and statisticians its two main components being the estimation and simulation. The geoestatistical software encompasses a wide range of products in terms of price, user-friendliness, operating systems, functionalities and visualization capabilities. In the present study, it was improved the software from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, called by GeoLEAP, geoestatistical, for academic and scientific purposes. It was implemented the automatic curves fitting of experimental semivariogram by four parametric models: Cubic, sine hole, pentaesferic and power. The results show that the parametric models of this work, even with its peculiarities, have good curves fitting for the semivariograms.
