Resumo:The Interoceptive accuracy is the accuracy in the perception of bodily information. These visceral afferent information is important in the regulation of physical exertion process. However, the accuracy Interoceptive related to the control of physical effort has been associated oppositely in adults and children individuals. Thus, understanding how interoceptive accuracy affects the control of physical exertion in adolescents will help to clarify how it affects control physical exertion at different stages of life. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the influence of Interoceptive accuracy on the regulation of physical exertion in adolescents physically conditioned. The sample consisted of 11 adolescents (aged 14 to 15 years) male, physically conditioned, which were allocated according to the level of heart Interoceptive accuracy: High accuracy (n = 5) and Low accuracy (n = 6) . All underwent maximal exercise test. Subsequently underwent Dordel-Koch-Test being monitored and recorded performance (the average running speed and distance traveled), the physiological demand (heart rate), the perceived exertion and the affective response. The groups did not differ between the psychological responses, perceived exertion (p = 0.138) and emotional valence (p = 686). As there was no difference in the physiological responses (p = 0.820) and the performance variables, the total distance traveled (p = 0.06) and mean velocity (p = 0.06) .The data normality was tested by the test Shapiro-Wilk. The level of 0.05 was adopted as significance criterion. There was no statistically significant difference between groups in PSE, and affective response in test performance. We conclude that the fact of adolescents present similar physical conditioning, interoceptive accuracy did not influence its behavior during exercise.
