Resumo: | The Institutional Program of Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID) aims to improve the quality of undergraduate students academic education through the association between Higher and Elementary Education. The objective of this study was to evaluate the PIBID influence on academic formation of Physical Education course students of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). To that end, twenty-one participants were asked to answer a questionnaire, which sought to identify the possible areas of contributions coming from PIBID for their training. A descriptive analysis was performed based on the responses obtained. From the interpretation on the perspective of several authors: Nóvoa (2009), Ludke e Boing (2012) e Darroz e Wannmacher (2015), about the ideal initial formation for the future teachers, it can be concluded that PIBID contribute effectively to provide an insertion of interviewed students in the teaching practice, as well as a critical reflection on its performance. Also, in the view of the participants, the articulations of PIBID provided benefits for their personal and academic/professional development, even as in scientific knowledge. |
