Resumo: | The vesiculobullous diseases represent a heterogeneous group of skin diseases which clinical manifestations vary considerably. Among them, we highlight the pemphigus vulgaris (PV) and benign mucous membranes pemphigoid (PBMM), which generally have the oral cavity as the first affected site, exerting significant impacts on patients’ quality of life, resulting in pain, difficulties during feeding and phonation, depending on the extent of ulcers. Objective: To conduct a retrospective study on a series of cases of PV and PBMM with manifestations in the oral cavity in order to verify their prevalence, sociodemographic characteristics, diagnostic maneuvers, treatment and follow-up. |
