| Resumo: | The present study discusses the effectiveness of the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) as an alternative of monitoring metric in the process optimization through standardization. The objective is to analyze the context and the general needs of companies and industries that wish to optimize their processes through the business management. For that, this work was developed through bibliographic researches, based on literary records, in real cases of a textile industry, a metallurgical industry and a pharmaceutical industry. In addition, the study also sought to identify the main factors that guarantee an efficient process in production lines. As a conclusion, was obtained the guarantee that the tool in question is efficient for a substantial production improvement in equipments which use the OEE as a metric. |
