Cromoterapia no processo saúde, doença e cuidado: um estudo à luz da revisão integrativa

The increase in the implantation of these therapies is due to the increasing number of the appearance of chronic diseases; dissatisfaction with current health and its costs; of valuing care and; interest in quality of life. Objective: To analyze the relationship between chromotherapy and the health, disease and care process. Methodological Path: This is an integrative review of the literature, carried out at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, at the FACISA campus, in the spaces of the computer lab and in the library, from August to November 2018. Complete articles have been included in the last 5 years, written in Portuguese, English or Spanish. The databases consulted were PubMed / Medline, LILACS and SCIELO. The following descriptors were used: "Terapia pela cor", "Cromoterapia", "Chromotherapy" and "Color Therapy". At the end, a sample of 10 articles was identified. Results: Color therapy is possible and presents important functions for health; influences people's relaxation; attenuates / eliminates emotional pain related to trauma; improves cognitive performance, psoriasis lesions and the appearance of stretch marks; contributes to the healing of wounds; helps in the treatment of acne; and modifies the biology of a critical illness. Final considerations: Chromotherapy helps to improve the health of individuals, thus justifying the importance of its use and the need to carry out more research on this method.

Introdução: A cromoterapia integra a Política Nacional de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares; estas objetivam a promoção, prevenção de agravos e recuperação da saúde, voltadas para o cuidado humano e integral. O aumento da implantação dessas terapias se deve ao número crescente do aparecimento de doenças crônicas; da insatisfação com a saúde atual e seus custos; da valorização do cuidado e; pelo interesse na qualidade de vida. Objetivo: Analisar a relação entre a cromoterapia e o processo saúde, doença e cuidado. Caminho Metodológico: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, no campus FACISA, nos espaços do laboratório de informática e na biblioteca, no período de agosto a novembro de 2018. Incluíram-se os artigos disponíveis na íntegra nos últimos 5 anos, escritos em português, inglês ou espanhol. As bases consultadas foram PubMed/Medline, LILACS e SCIELO. Foram utilizados os seguintes descritores: “Terapia pela cor”, “Cromoterapia”, “Chromotherapy” e “Color Therapy”. Ao final identificou-se uma amostra de 10 artigos. Resultados: A terapia pela cor é possível e apresenta funções importantíssimas para a saúde; influencia no relaxamento das pessoas; atenua/elimina a dor emocional relacionada a um trauma; melhora o desempenho cognitivo, as lesões da psoríase e a aparência de estrias; contribui na cicatrização de feridas; auxilia no tratamento da acne; e modifica a biologia de uma doença crítica.
