| Resumo: | ABSTRACT: To analyze the profile of occurrences of SAMU services in 2016, in the city of Currais Novos / RN.
METHODS: This is a descriptive, exploratory, transversal research with a quantitative approach, with 469 SAMU service records. A collection of data available in the months of July and August 2017.
RESULTS: This year 56.9% (267) of the visits were performed by an advanced support unit. The month of November registered the highest number of occurrences, 80 (17.1%). The morning shift predominated, 30.8% (138), and the day of the week was Wednesday 67 (15%). Most of the records were clinical care (57.57%), in men (57.6%), in the age group between 60 and 79 years 20.3% (95). 56.42% of the SAMU registries showed the existence of patients with previous diseases, the majority of the visits had as final destination the secondary level 56.7% (258).
CONCLUSION: This present was the main method of care, which is the majority of clinic appointments, with elderly patients, male patients and who have cormobities. KEYWORDS: Emergency hospital care, emergency help, prehospital care. |
