| Resumo: | The goal of the presented research is to analyze the theatricality found in the stylized quadrille “Arraiá do Cabaço” in the year 2015, based on the knowledge acquired over the course of the graduation as a Theater Licentiate, reflecting on the process of scenic creation. By having as a start point the studies about the concept of theatricality and its applicability, it looks to observe the extrapolation of theatricality beyond creating theater, observing the relations in our daily life which have spectacular character, bringing in the quadrille as an object of analysis. Starting from a gathering of information, with an open and semi-structured interview, it enters the June´s party universe in order to comprehend the historic contextualization of quadrilles, and how this theatricality has firmed itself year after year in this cultural phenomenon, introducing more specifically in the oldest June´s party group in Natal, RN, starting from an exercise of ethnographic investigation with participating observation, in order to comprehend its internal dynamic. With that, this research aims to synthetize an analysis on the theme of the stylized quadrille “Arraiá do Cabaço” in the year of 2015, reflecting upon the process of its construction, the internal and external influences, realizing how the theatrical elements step into this artistic making, and in what way the theatricality in the June party spectacles settles. |
