This work deals with the experiences and discoveries of Geisla Blanco as a transgender performer in the undergraduate course in Theater, seeking to emphasize the systematic cis normative, highlighting art as a process of transition and elaboration of genres within and outside the Degree Course in Theater at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Starting from the process as a central issue, in order to better understand the gender and sexuality arrangements in the scenic art, the research brings a memorialized approach, going through a brief historical introduction about the “transvestites” and from the experiments already carried out during the graduation, drinking from experiences like the performance extract “Made to bleed” presented in 2017.2 in the discipline Performance study and “Stop killing us” presented in 2018.1 in the discipline Aesthetics II, which address issues about violence against transvestites and transsexuals and permeate the universe of human existence of these bodies that transgress the gender dichotomy. Merging with other moments experienced by the artist, the research is a hodgepodge of possibilities based on the ambiguities that arise in the making of theater and performance, it is a manifesto about trans lives. Este trabalho trata das experiências e descobertas de Geisla Blanco como performer transgênero na graduação em Teatro, buscando enfatizar a sistemática cis normativa, destacando a arte como processo de transição e elaboração de gêneros dentro e fora do Curso de Licenciatura em Teatro da Universidade Federal de Rio Grande do Norte. Partindo do processo como questão central, para melhor compreender os arranjos de gênero e sexualidade na arte cênica, a pesquisa traz uma abordagem em forma de memorial, passando por uma breve introdução histórica sobre as “travestis” e a partir da experimentos já realizados durante a graduação, bebendo de experiências como o extrato performático “Feita para sangrar” apresentado em 2017.2 na disciplina Estudos da Performance e “Pare de nos matar” apresentado em 2018.1 na disciplina Estética II, que abordam questões sobre violência contra travestis e transexuais e permeiam o universo da existência humana desses corpos que transgridem a dicotomia de gênero.
