description In recent years, we have witnessed more intense violations of human rights in the Brazilian reality, especially when we face the coming to power of groups authoritarian for whom the suppression and annihilation of its opponents are parts fundamental to the constitution of a society standardized to its own image and similarity. Coupled with this, we deal with the rise of hate speech against diversity and plurality of thought in the social events and practices of civil society. In this context, insert the brutal murder of Marielle Franco, a democratically elected city councillor of Rio de Janeiro, in 2018. The crime was widely reported by the media and became a symbol of the rupture of democratic rule of law. Our objective, given the above, is to elucidate the intradiscourse mechanisms that intensificaram o querer saber as reais causas do assassinato de Marielle Franco e Anderson and as a result, they drove the crime into the memory of a collective. We resorted the theoretical-methodological contribution of French or Greimasian line semiotics, in particular to its recent developments in the field of tension. The corpus, in turn, consists of 22 reports from the Jornal Nacional, the main news of TV Globo, that were aired during the first two weeks of the crime. The results demonstrate a narrative sequencing around a pragmatic sanction based on a belief that it is an execution with strong political motives which, over time, has grown and is confirmed in the course of the investigation. In addition, it was contacted that other discourses developments were added to the coverage and intensified their desire to know the real causes.

Nos últimos anos, a sociedade brasileira lida, de forma intensa, com violações de Direitos Humanos, sobretudo quando nos deparamos com a chegada ao poder de políticos com forte caráter autoritário e para os quais a aniquilação de seus opositores é peça fundamental para a consolidação de uma sociedade forjada à sua própria imagem ou por aquilo em que se acredita “aceitável”. Acrescenta-se a isso o recrudescimento de discursos de ódio contra a diversidade e a pluralidade de pensamento nos eventos e nas práticas sociais da sociedade civil. Nesse contexto, insere-se o assassinato de Marielle Franco em 2018, vereadora eleita democraticamente da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. O crime, amplamente noticiado pelos meios de comunicação, constitui-se como símbolo da ruptura do Estado Democrático de Direito. Nosso objetivo, diante do exposto, é elucidar o modus operandi da reportagem jornalística que intensifica o querer saber as reais causas do assassinato de Marielle Franco e Anderson Gomes e, com resultado, faz com que o crime adentre à memória de uma coletividade. Para isso, o presente estudo ancora-se no aporte teórico-metodológico da Semiótica de linha francesa ou greimasiana, em especial aos seus recentes desdobramentos no campo da tensividade. O corpus, por sua vez, é composto por 22 reportagens do Jornal Nacional, o principal telejornal da TV Globo, veiculadas durante 15 e 22 de março de 2018. No que diz respeito aos resultados, observamos um sequenciamento narrativo em torno de uma sanção pragmática embasada por um crer ser uma execução efetuada por agentes policiais que, ao longo do tempo, recrudesce e se confirma com o desenrolar da investigação.
