There are three initial episodes, each lasting 10 minutes, in which we will understand throught interviews how the system works and learn from the experiences of important characters who are or had been inserted in crowded prisons in Rio Grande do Norte. The interviewees were the professor and social researcher, Augusto Araújo, the penitentiary agent of the João Chaves Penal Complex, Glycia Lopes, and the writer and publicist, Newton Albuquerque, who used to be incarcerated. Also in this report, we show the production stages of the “Humanus” program, from the pre-production and adjustments due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus to the editing and the product finalization, bibliographic references and relevant information about podcast. Assim como os programas de rádio cresceram nos últimos anos, os podcasts vêm ganhando cada vez mais espaço na vida dos jovens brasileiros ao fornecer uma experiência em áudio completa, periódica, dinâmica e acessível em streaming. Fugindo do modelo “hard news”, com coberturas jornalísticas ao vivo e com pautas apressadas, nos propomos, através do podcast “Humanus”, a analisar e debater dados e questões importantes que estão inseridas dentro do sistema carcerário. São três episódios iniciais com duração de cerca de 10 minutos cada em que, por meio de entrevistas, entenderemos o funcionamento e as experiências de personagens importantes que estão ou estiveram inseridos em presídios lotados no Rio Grande do Norte. Os entrevistados foram o professor e pesquisador social, Augusto Araújo, a agente penitenciária do Complexo Penal João Chaves, Glycia Lopes, e o escritor e publicitário Newton Albuquerque, egresso do sistema prisional.
