Due to it’s novelty and lack of academic material towards this subject until now; As a project, this research has as it’s goal to set a basis for the artistic production, in which consists of illustrations and it’s respective creative processes, based on the album ‘Uncanny Valley’, from the artist Perturbator – chosen for bringing an blend between sound and aesthetic of blackmetal and synthwave – as a means of serving as a basis for other artists should them explore this aesthetic in the future. Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo apresentar o synthwave como um gênero musical e visual, investigando suas influências e tendo um foco em particular em seu subgênero, darksynth. A pesquisa fora feita com base em levantamento bibliográfico e iconográfico a partir da internet.
